Boltless Shelving

Overview

Boltless shelving — also called rivet shelving — is a sturdy storage system built on an interlocking rivet and keyhole slot design instead of nuts, bolts or screws. The top and bottom shelves use a double-rivet connection and the whole bay assembles easily without tools. It typically consists of vertical steel posts, horizontal beams and shelf decking in wood or wire mesh.

Boltless shelving is engineered to provide safe, economical storage of virtually any kind of hand-loaded material. Starter and add-on units combine to form economical rows of shelving, while a common tee post between units adds extra rigidity. Loads stay accessible from all sides and, because braces are not necessary, the open frame is quick to build and reconfigure.

Shelves adjust on 1-1/2″ (38 mm) centers to match your cartons and parts, particleboard decking is available separately, and optional heavy single-rivet beams let you upgrade any bay for heavier loads.
